- Consider getting a remote – If your car doesn’t have a remote key that can lock and unlock it, you may want to consider getting one. This can be a bigger investment, but it will make your life a whole lot easier, especially if you are prone to locking your keys in your car.
- Attach a bell to your keys – Attach a small bell to your keys so that it makes a distinctive noise every time you pull the keys out to lock your car. If you don’t have your keys, you are a lot more likely to notice without that small sound.
- Give spare keys to friends and neighbors – Although keeping a spare key in your wallet or purse is a great idea, you could easily just lock those things into your car.
